Welcome to the Annual Bonita Springs Christmas Boat Parade!
We were concerned about the weather early on but it turned out to be a beautiful evening for the parade. It was a great turnout!
I've never seen the bridge on 41 so packed with people. The boat ramp was full, the river park was packed. Lots of house parties along both sides of the river. The Fish House Restaurant was jammed with people. It was a great Christmas event.
I would like to thank sponsors, Bay Water Boat Club, The Fish House Restaurant, The Imperial River Conservancy, Marina Mike's, and especially all the residences along the river that donated and had parties that night.
We look forward to next years event on December 14th, 2013. (Mark your Calendar!)
Also, next year we are returning to the original parade route which will start at Big Hickory Fish Nook Restaurant then travel all the way up the river to Holly Lane and then ending at The Fish House Restaurant on Bonita Beach Road.
I'm very excited about the boat participation over the past two years and look forward to making this the best boat parade in southwest Florida!
